The Foundation is Christ In Us Fellowship with our source of existance
Since the development
of logical speech many mothers have gotten rid of unwanted children in many
ways (throw them in the river, leave them in the woods, throw them off the
cliff or throw them in the fire).
1) Abram founded a special people that
loved God (their unseen source of existence) and replaced child sacrifice
with animal sacrifice. (Abortion and postpartum abortion are forms of child
sacrifice today!)
While the Hebrews were in bondage Exodus 1:22 "And
Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast
into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.
2) Moses brought
ten laws that even Kings and Pharaohs are subject to and he set up priests
to teach and govern by these laws.
The priesthood of Ancient Israel was
the class of male individuals, who, according to the Hebrew Bible, were
patrilineal descendants from Aaron (the elder brother of Moses). They came
to set themselves between the people and their God (source of existence).
They sacrificed animals and went threw the Vail of the Holy Of Holies to
speak to God!
3) Jesus said he could speak directly with God (His source
of existence) and the priests had him murdered for that.
Jesus said, John
14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will
send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (The truths of physical and
behavioral reality; God's laws, your source of existence (Acts 17:28 "For in
him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets
have said, For we are also his offspring.")
4) Jesus sent
messengers 2x2
and prayed for more.
Luke 10:1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town
and place where he was about to go. 2 He told them, "The harvest is
plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore,
to send out workers into his harvest field. 3 Go! I am sending you out like
lambs among wolves. 4 Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not
greet anyone on the road. 5 "When you enter a house, first say, "Peace to
this house." 6 If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest
on them; if not, it will return to you. 7 Stay there, eating and drinking
whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move
around from house to house.
8 "When you enter a town and are welcomed,
eat what is offered to you. 9 Heal the sick who are there and tell them, "The kingdom of God has come near to you." 10 But when you enter a town and
are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, 11 "Even the dust of your
town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The
kingdom of God has come near." 12 I tell you, it will be more bearable on
that day for Sodom than for that town.
Matthew 9:38 Pray ye therefore the
Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest
5) As a naive young man I thought of God as a being like a man setting on a
cloud throwing rocks on bad people and I prayed to God asking why He created
intelligent life?
The answer I got was "For fellowship!" Solitary
confinement is a terrible punishment!
Matthew 18:20 Jesus said, "For
where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst
of them."
Matthew 7:16 Jesus said, "Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?"
Revelation 1:6 John
said, ". . . [Jesus] hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father;
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."
We have weekly
home fellowship where all professing Christ have a prayer and testimony.
Acts 2:42 - And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and
fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
To me professing
Christ means, [Matthew 22:37-40 . . . ] "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
(our source of existence) with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is
the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt
love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and
the prophets."
Have you found this home fellowship or built this home
fellowship for yourself?
By "Meeting in the Home" I mean, "Church in the
home".
