1 Armenian Invasions

http://www.molokane.org/molokan/History/ In the seventeenth century, the national revival following the Time of Troubles was strongly religious in nature, but it was undermined by increasing contacts with a more secular West. Orthodoxy and Westernization were on a collision course. The decisive moment of the seventeenth century was the Old Believers’ schism in 1667. It involved a bitter controversy over the proper form of worship. Its key antagonists were Patriarch Nikon, a monk, and Archpriest Avvakum, a charismatic preacher. Their uncompromising positions deeply divided Russian society. In the context of a considerably weakened Church grew a powerful, secular state. By the end of the seventeenth century, clocks and calendars had replaced icons in some government offices. To the devout, these changes signaled the coming of the apocalypse. Out of this chaos emerged sectarians—those who refused to be Orthodox which was a felony, punishable with torture and imprisonment.

What's left of Armenia? When Olga's fore fathers went to Tashir (Kalinino), Armenia about 1830. It had been depopulated by Moslem invasions. The Czar had recovered the land for Armenia and Georgia but it was unpopulated accept for the Czar's army of Cossacks and their families. They were left to defend the territory under the supervision of a Russian Lord in the service of the Czar. The Cossacks were Russian Orthodox Christians. The Russian Lord gave each family of the Molokans 19 hectors of land for a farm. They used the wood for building and for fire in the winter. By the end of the 1800's Olga's grandparents had a working farm with a number of cows and smaller livestock.

3 Olga's Grandparents Save One Man

Stepanavan grew as an Armenian city. It was a few kilometers across a gigantic gorge from Kalinino. By 1915 it had about 10,000 Armenians. When one of a Turkish rulers son’s was killed in battle with Armenians the Turkish Army started exterminating Armenians.

The Turkish Muslim Army came to Stepanavan. It rounded up the 10,000 Armenians and in groups they were blind folded and carrying their babies were marched off the cliff to their death. They kept a few alive and made them spend days gathering wood and burning the mangled bodies. Then the Turks murdered them also.

The photo is  from that time as the Turkish Army proudly stands by a pile of men, women, elderly and infants they just murdered and piled up.

Olga's Grandparents Save One Man

The area where Olga's grandparents lived was by treaty to be off limits for the Turkish Army. But that did not stop them. The Turkish Army came to Olga's town. They said they would kill any Russian that hid an Armenian.

Olga's grandparents had a small potato cellar with a floor lid to enter. They hid an Armenian man there and covered the entry lid.  The Turkish came but did not discover the cellar.

While searching the town there was an community elevated grain storage tower (to keep grain dry and protected from rats).  The tower was minded by an old Russian. While searching the tower they found an Armenian. He was killed but the old Russian has spared claiming he had no knowledge of the Armenian.

5 Mohammad Amin al-Husayni

Mohammad Amin al-Husayni
Mohammad Amin al-Husayni (ca. 1895July 4, 1974, أمين الحسيني, alternatively spelt al-Husseini), Amin al-Husayni was born in Jerusalem in 1895 (some sources say 1893). He attended Al-Azhar University in Cairo (where he founded an anti-Zionist society) and studied Islamic Law for about one year. In 1913 at the age of 18, al-Husayni made the pilgrimage to Mecca and received the honorific of Hajj. Prior to World War I, al-Husayni studied at the School of Administration in Istanbul.

With the outbreak of World War I in 1914, al-Husayni joined the Ottoman Turkish army, received a commission as an artillery officer and was assigned to the Forty-Seventh Brigade stationed in and around the predominantly Greek Christian city of Smyrna.

British named the Mufti of Jerusalem, was a Palestinian Arab nationalist and a Muslim religious leader. Known for his anti-Zionism and antisemitism, al-Husayni fought against the establishment of a Jewish state in the territory of the British Mandate of Palestine. To this end, Husayni collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War II and helped recruit Muslims for the Waffen-SS[1].

6 British appoint Amin Al-Husseini

The British appoint Amin Al-Husseini as Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.

The British, against the local Muslim vote, appoint Amin Al-Husseini as Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.  Amin Al-Husseini came in a poor fourth place in the vote ("http://www.tellthechildrenthetruth.com"). The Muslim community rejected his candidacy because he had not received any credible  Islamic education.  He was neither a Sheikh (religiously accredited leader) nor an Alim (Islamic scholar). He becomes the pre-eminent Arab power in Palestine.  His brutality becomes notorious and is rejected by local Muslim leadership.
1920 - Jerusalem, Palestine. Amin Al Husseini inciting the riots that pitted Palestinian Arab against Palestinian Jew.

By 1922 Armenia began making communes. They were not free to practice religion with home meetings. Under Soviet rule Armenian, Azerbaijan and Kurdish villages grew. The Russian villages had other people live peacefully with them but Armenian, Azerbaijan and Kurdish did not mix. The people that arrived were organized into cooperatives but the original Russians had private property till 1937. The non-Moslem communities always had a problem with Moslems stealing. They had to guard their cattle and horses at night.

7 Founder World Islamic Congress

1931 Amin Al Husseini is founder and President of the World Islamic Congress. After WWII, it will actively shape the agenda of the Muslim world. .
From: http://www.tellthechildrenthetruth.com/amin_en.html

By 1930's Olga's grandparents had 2 boys and five grown girls. With 15 hectors of forest and 4 hectors of farm land. They had 13 cows, 8 horses, 4 colts, 4 oxen, and 70 sheep. Their area had an Alpine climate good for grazing cattle in the summer but not good for growing grain. The live stock would go to the mountains for the summer grazing. They had 4 wagons and farm machines for sewing grain and reaping grain. They had a large barn for the live stock and a large grain storage barn and a three room general store.

Olga's grandfather imported grain by going passed Stavropol Region to Kuban, Russia and buying a couple train car loads of grain before winter. It was shipped by train to Kerovakan or Alaverdi where he would take wagons and bring it to his storage barn to sale. They sold and bought all kinds of general goods. They bartered milk (to make cheese and butter) for goods in his general store. Olga's grand father traveled to Tbilisi and other cities to buy and sell.

There was a cold spring there (about 2 deg. C) a German dairy factory that grew up there using the natural cooling for aging cheese and exported even to Europe. Olga's grandfather and other Russians would take cheese, produce and grain to sell and trade in T'bilici Georgia. Before 1922 it had been safe to travel but they learned to go in armed groups because the Muslims would rob them. Olga's grandfather was also a wheelwright (he made wagon wheels).

Olga's grandfather had Moslem customers for his wheels. After many years friendship and trust grew with some of his Moslem customers. While making a delivery one day Olga's grandfather asked his friend, "Why do the Moslems steal from the non-Moslems?" His friend said, "The Koran tells us to."

I was surprised to learn that the same thing about the cause of steeling had been told to John Adams and Tomas Jefferson. From: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1242756/posts

8 US Paid 20% of Budget To Muslims in 1800!

The Barbary Coast of Northern Africa consisted of the four states of Algiers, Morocco, Tripoli, and Tunis. The " Barbary Pirates" had for centuries captured vessels sailing the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. They occasionally raided coastal villages to capture Christian slaves, such as a village in southern Ireland, which was said to have been entirely captured by Muslim raiders.

Earning their living by blackmail, tribute, piracy and slavery, the Barbary Pirates received yearly sums of money, ships, and arms from foreign powers. Those who payed their tribute were allowed to sail unmolested along the Barbary Coast, and trade in the African ports. Those who did not had their ships seized and their crews held for ransom or sold into slavery. In 1662, England agreed to pay an annual tribute, in return for free passage along the Barbary Coast.

Religion was a factor, just as it is now. The Barbary Pirates were Muslims. Those they preyed upon were exclusively Christians, and if not released through the payment of tribute, faced slavery or worse. Those few who converted to Islam escaped slavery, and were treated as equals. If any Christian dared to blaspheme Allah, he risked being impaled or roasted alive. Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, serving at the time as European Ministers, asked the ambassador from Tripoli why his government sanctioned such savagery. He replied that the Koran stated that non-Muslims were "sinners," and Muslims had a "...right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners.

9 Omitted From Public Education

In all my schooling and at the University the books and teachers never taught that "The Barbary Pirates were Muslims following the Koran!" The books and teachers always taught the Pirates crooks with a patch over there eye, maybe a pegleg a sword and a flag with a skull and cross bones. If they talked it was with a British accent saying,"Aye mate!" How can this be and now I find that the USA was paying Muslim States 20% of the federal budget in 1800 and paid for 15 years!

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Barbary_War

The nations of Britain and France had come to uneasy ententes with the pirates; a combination of military might, diplomacy, and extorted payments had kept ships flying the Union Jack or French flag more or less safe from attack. As British colonists before 1776, American merchant vessels had enjoyed the protection of the Royal Navy. During the American Revolution, American ships came under the aegis of France due to a 1778 Treaty of Alliance between the two countries.

By 1783, however, with the end of the Revolution, America became solely responsible for the safety of its own commerce and citizens. Without the means or the authority to field a naval force necessary to protect their ships in the Mediterranean, the nascent U.S. government took a pragmatic, but ultimately self-destructive route. In 1784, the United States Congress allocated money for payment of tribute to the pirates.

Use for the money came in 1785, when the Dey of Algiers took two American ships hostage and demanded US$60,000 in ransom for their crews. Then-ambassador to France Thomas Jefferson argued that conceding the ransom would only encourage more attacks. His objections fell on the deaf ears of an inexperienced American government too riven with domestic discord to make a strong show of force overseas. The U.S. paid Algiers the ransom, and continued to pay up to $1 million per year over the next 15 years for the safe passage of American ships or the return of American hostages. Payments in ransom and tribute to the privateering states amounted to 20 percent of United States government annual revenues in 1800 .

10 The Koran

Muslims to Kill Non-Muslims.
I studied the Koran and found relevant passages like below:

Koran Sura 9 The Immunity
.1 (This is a declaration of) immunity by Allah and His Apostle towards those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement.
.2 So go about in the land for four months and know that you cannot weaken Allah and that Allah will bring disgrace to the unbelievers.
.3 And an announcement from Allah and His Apostle to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah and His Apostle are free from liability to the idolaters; therefore if you repent, it will be better for you, and if you turn back, then know that you will not weaken Allah; and announce painful punishment to those who disbelieve.
.4 Except those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement, then they have not failed you in anything and have not backed up any one against you, so fulfill their agreement to the end of their term; surely Allah loves those who are careful (of their duty).
.5 So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful."
...
.29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth(i), out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
.30 And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
.31 They have taken their doctors of law and their monks for lords besides Allah, and (also) the Messiah son of Mary and they were enjoined that they should serve one God only, there is no god but He; far from His glory be what they set up (with Him).

11 Communists Take Property

In Olga's for-fathers Armenian Homeland, after 1915 when the Moslems had killed all the Armenians the Russian Communists made it safe. Then came Kurds, Azeri, Armenian and others who had little and lived in holes in the ground. They liked communism because the Communists gave them food and medical care and schools..

Olga’s grandparents had been buying lumber and building materials for a new house. In 1937 the Communists did away with private property and forced the Russians to work on communes. Those who spoke against the collectivization were branded “enemies of the state”. The landowners that protested were being arrested and sometimes killed. They killed 37 people in Olga's town. They took the building materials, livestock barn, grain barn, bath house, store, stables, 13 cows and 8 horses, 4 colts, 70 sheep; leaving one cow that had been blinded in a hale storm.

Olga’s grandfather and a neighbor went and hid in the Georgian hills. Later they snuck back for a visit. Some one saw the neighbor and informed the police. The neighbor saw the police coming and snuck out going to Olga’s grandfather’s house. When they saw the police coming there they went to the attic and hid in barrels (used for storing grain in the winter). When the police came they stuck their heads up through the attic door and looked but did not go up to look in the barrels.

After the confiscations were completed and collectives set up, the 1938 Communist authorities gave an amnesty for those that were in hiding or left the country. Olga’s grandfather returned and worked on a commune. Olga's father went in the Army and later worked as a civil policeman with side work as a home builder.

14 Olga's Uncle - Missing In Action Against Nazis

During the war with Germany Olga's grandparents lost a son that went to the front and was never heard from again. Olga's father, born in 1928, was too young to go to the front. He was sent to a base in Azerbaijan where he contracted Malaria and nearly died. There were many wounded and the Russian homes took many wounded soldiers in for rehabilitation. Olga's grand parents took a soldier in for rehabilitation.

Hitler reached the Caucasus where near Chechnya (where we live part of the year). There are valuable mineral waters and beautiful Health Spas through out this region. The Russians did not want the Spas destroyed. To save the cities they let the German Army take them without a fight. They fought the Germans in the mountains.
