1-5-21 Why A Home Church

xx

1

1 John 4:1-19 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God (through our parents); and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, (through our parents) and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit (outlook). And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.

6

What is a church?  Что такое церковь?

7

8

9

10

11

Many people associate the word "church" with a building, or denomination.

Многие люди ассоциируют слово "церковь", со Эданием, или конфессией.

12

But actually a church is really an association of people who believe and follow Bible truths.

Но фактически, церковь - действительно ,ассоциация людей, кто верят и следуют Эа истинами Библии.

13

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

От Матфея 18:20 ибо, где двое или трое собраны во имя Мое, там Я посреди них

14

15

This is the bibles definition of a church.

Это библейское определение церкви.

16

What is a Home Church?

17

It is an association of believers who meet together in their homes on God's appointed day for the professing men to share a prayer and a testimony.

For the professing men, women and children to share in singing hymns and a token of bread and grape juice in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice that opened direct access to God for us.

18

19

The concept of home church was the original setting for the early church and it has reestablished itself as the faithful gained the Bible in their language.

20

21

Paul wrote:

22

"Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ."

Romans 16:5

23

24

The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

1 Corinthians 16:19

25a

Gospel meeting are where the good news of Christ is preached by His 2x2 sent ones (apostles) following Luke 10.  But your friends and neighbors can learn of the Gospel from you and being invited to Bible study on Wednesday evenings. In the Home Meetings (Wednesday or Sunday) the apostles are just brothers in Christ with a prayer and testimony like all the professing brothers.

25b

Present day apostles (sent pairs) Jesus said to pray for.

(Luke 10:2 Therefore said he (Jesus) unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.)

26

Colossians 4:15 "Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house."

27

28

Philemon 1:2 And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

29

30

In search of the truth one is often faced with circumstances that are clearly false.

31

This is unfortunately the case of denominations today, which have incorporated doctrines that are contrary to the word of God.

32

Such doctrinal errors vary from which day is God's true holy day, to the truth about the state of the dead.

33

We need fellowship to share and receive the spiritual bread of love in prayer and testimony in fellowship with other Christians. We need to share and grow in love of self, love of others like self, love of others not like self, love of children and home, love of community, love of country, love of mankind and love of God in whom we live and move and have our being. Being reconciled and born again into God's culture through Jesus the Christ.

34

It is extremely important to be familiar with the doctrines of the church you are attending in relation to what the bible says.

35

We should not depend on our pastors for this, but everyone is individually responsible for themselves.

36

37

We are individually responsible for the doctrines of the church that we are members of.

38

If we discover that your church does not abide by the Bible in all principles...

39

There should be no second thought for withdrawing from it, and explaining to our pastor and others why we are doing so.

40

A church is symbolized as a women in the Bible (Ephesians 5:25) ...

44

Revelation 18 tells us to come out of the unfaithful church:

45

"And I heard another voice
from heaven, saying, Come
out of her, my people, that ye
be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her
plagues."

46

Taking note of this warning
you are encouraged to make
a home church that will be a
"pillar and ground of the
truth" (1 Timothy 3:15).

47

Deacon

1 Timothy 3:8

Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

48

Deacon

A Deacon usually hosts the Wednesday night Bible study where all prepare a testimony on the same Chapter. Sometimes they host a Sunday meeting where two churches have a Union Meeting (to share and meet others in your area).

Deacons that prove themselves become (Elders) Bishops having a Sunday Meeting in their home.

When a Home Church grows to be about 12 giving testimonies it is near the time to split into two Home Churches.

49

50

Bishop (ELder)

1 Timothy 3:1-7

This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

51

Bishop (Elder)

Titus 1:5-9

Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; To Titus, mine own son after the common faith:Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

52

"God has a church. It is  not
the great cathedral, neither is
it the national establishment,
neither is it the various
denominations; it is the
people who love3 God and
keep His commandments..."

53

" 'Where two or three are
gathered togather in my name,
there am I in the midst of
them' (Matthew 18:20)..."

54

"Where Christ is even among the
humble few, this is Christ's
Church, for the presents of the
High and Holy One who
inhabiteth eternity can alone
constitute a church."

1 Corinthians 14:26 How is it
then, brethren? when ye
come together, every one of
you hath a psalm, hath a
doctrine, hath a tongue, hath
a revelation, hath an
interpretation. Let all things
 be done unto edifying.

56

Many people have found
home churches to be
welcoming and beneficial
for their spiritual growth.

57

 It allows for more personal
associations with a body of
Christians.

58

59

It encourages people to be
active participants in the
church setting.

60

It motivates people to be
more involved in sharing
truth with others,

61

And more reasons that you
will soon discover ...

62

There are great blessings to
be gained from following
God's counsel.

63

1. Enables churches to
successfully give the
Three Angles' Messages
(Rev. 14) and the Loud
Cry of Revelation 18.

64

2. Shields churches from
fanaticism.

65

3. Is an important factor in
the spiritual growth of
church members.

66

4. Serves to unite in one
body all believers in
Christ.
(Acts of the Apostles, page 89)

I can not find the above.

Romans 12:4-9
For as we have many members in one body,
and all members have not the same office:
So we, being many, are one body in Christ,
and every one members one of another.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace
that is given to us, whether prophecy,
 let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering:
or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:
he that giveth,  let him do it with simplicity;
he that ruleth, with diligence;
he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
Let love be without dissimulation.
Abhor that which is evil;
cleave to that which is good.

67

Luke 10:1-9 (The 2x2 Ministry)
After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place,
whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

68

 6. Increase the number of believers (Acts 6).

69

7, Increase the strength of the believers (Acts 6:7).

World
Christian
Encyclopedia

71

The World Christian
Encyclopedia recently estimated
that there are already 112
million "out-of-chruch
Christians" around the world.

72

The study also noted that more
than 20 million adults attend
services in home churches each
week. Recently, that number
rose to 43 million.

73

74

You need to start a home
church for the right
reasons ...

75

With these in mind, please
prayerfully study this matter
and consider starting your
own home church.

23For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

So you have raised children in a Christian home and are a deacon or a bishop in your home church. You and a helpmate (wife or trusted friend) can answer the Lord's prayer in Luke 10 and go with nothing to stay with others to canvas neighborhoods and help build a home church or found a new one. Or you could get a new home to have a place for 2x2 servants and start a home church in a new neighborhood of country.

Insight into why Jesus sends his true 2x2 servants with only the cloths they are wearing. Part 1 gives the background of how I came to travel the country with nothing bet the shirt on my back. How I came discover what brought out a loving spirit in complete strangers!
